Reyson Gracie (born on 28 February 1942) is the 3rd son (7th child) of Carlos Gracie, the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a member of the Gracie Family. [3] Like his father, he has structured his life around three pillars: Jiu-Jitsu, the Gracie Diet and Spiritualism. Reyson Gracie is a 9th degree red belt in BJJ. [4]
In the beginning of the 1960s Reyson trained many athletes to fight in the famous Brazilian TV programme Heróis do Ringue ("The Heroes of the Ring"). With a unique pedagogy for both children and adults, his classes have always been known for exploiting not only the techniques of Jiu-Jitsu but also the philosophy behind the ancient martial art. He is a 9th degree (dan) red belt in his father's art.
Reyson's most important achievement was the introduction of Jiu-Jitsu into Amazonas in 1977 where he created the Amazonas Federation of Jiu-Jitsu. The state is nowadays the second biggest in this sport worldwide, only behind Rio de Janeiro. From 1997 to 2002, he headed the Bahia Federation of Jiu-Jitsu. Since then he has been travelling and giving seminars in and outside Brazil to students and teachers of all levels.
Reyson currently lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Gracie has two children: Kendra Gracie and Carlos Gracie III.
Carlson Gracie was a practitioner of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. A member of the Gracie family, he was the eldest son of Carlos Gracie, and nephew to Hélio Gracie, founders of Gracie jiu-jitsu.

The founder of the first Gracie Barra franchise in the United Kingdom, Gomes has been training and teaching BJJ for over 50 years, one of only six people promoted to black belt by legendary Rolls Gracie. Gomes is the father of Roger Gracie, one of the most accomplished jiu-jitsu competitors of all time.

Leticia Ribeiro N. Dos Santos is a 4th degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and multiple time world champion in the sport. She is associated with the Gracie Humaita jiu-jitsu school. Ribeiro is considered one of the top 10 best Brazilian jiu-jitsu female fighters of all time having been distinguished with a mention in the IBJJF Hall of Fame.
Oswaldo Baptista Fadda was a practitioner of jujutsu and developer of Brazilian jiu-jitsu, reaching the rank of "nono grau", a 9th degree red belt. In 2014, he was posthumously awarded the 10th degree. He is known for being one of the highest ranked non-Gracie black belts and also for teaching students from the poorer areas of Rio de Janeiro, where brazilian jiu-jitsu was regarded as an upper-class sport. Fadda's lineage, the most prominent second to the Carlos Gracie lineage, still survives through his links with today's teams such as Nova União, Grappling Fight Team, as well as Deo Jiu-Jitsu and Equipe Mestre Wilson Jiu-Jitsu.
Caio Terra is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) competitor and world champion. Caio began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2003 and received his black belt in 2006. His promotion to black belt is one of the quickest recorded in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history.
