Rezarta Smaja (born 23 March 1984) is an Albanian singer.
Rezarta Smaja was born on 23 March 1984 in Shkodër, a city located in northern Albania. She began her music career in rock bands and sang at various music events in her hometown. Her professional career started after her decision to compete at Ethet (Albanian Idol) where she was a finalist. Smaja decided to continue her career participating at music festivals in Albania, such as Top Fest, Kënga Magjike and Festivali i Këngës. [1] She has performed live in Tirana. [2]
Smaja made her debut appearance in the 51st Festivali i Këngës with the song "Ti" and finished 7th. [3] The following year, she returned to the 52nd Festivali i Këngës, performing "Në zemër" and placing 7th again. [4] She participated in the 2014 Kënga Magjike with "Shpirt i lirë" (Free spirit) and made it through to the final, held on 13 December 2014. [5] Later that month, she competed at the 53rd Festivali i Këngës, with "Më rrëmbe" (Take me away), [6] a song written by Dr. Flori, an Albanian singer-songwriter who died in November 2014. [7] [8] She qualified to the final and placed 7th once again. She competed in the 54th Festivali i Këngës with the song "Dashuri në përjetësi" (Love in eternity), a duet with Klodian Kaçani. They finished 4th in the final. [9] She also competed in the 55th Festivali i Këngës with the song ""Pse prite gjatë", which came 7th as well. [10] In the 56th Festivali i Këngës, she and her duet partner Luiz Ejlli were voted the fan favorites, [11] but did not make the podium. The full results were never disclosed. After a break, Smaja returned for the 60th Festivali i Këngës and finished 3rd with her entry "E jemja nuse". [12]
Anjeza Shahini is an Albanian singer. She is best known for being the first representative of Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2004, after winning the 42nd edition of Festivali i Këngës.
Albania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece, with the song "Zjarr e ftohtë" performed by Luiz Ejlli. Its selected entry was chosen through the national selection competition Festivali i Këngës organised by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) in December 2005. To this point, the nation had participated in the Eurovision Song Contest two times since its first entry in 2004. Due to the non-top 11 result in the previous contest, Albania was drawn to compete in the semi-final of the contest, which took place on 18 May 2006. Performing as number six, the nation was not announced among the top 10 entries of the semi-final and therefore failed to qualify for the grand final, marking Albania's first non-qualification in the contest.

Luiz Ejlli is an Albanian singer, songwriter, actor, musician, ex-diplomat, reality show star and TV personality. A former winner of the 44th edition of Festivali i Këngës, he also represented Albania in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest. After several years of absence on music, he gained popularity and received significant attention following his participation and victory of the second season of the Albanian reality competition Big Brother VIP on Top Channel. In 2010, Ejlli was appointed by the Albanian Government as First Secretary for Culture, Tourism, and Arts in the Albanian Embassy in Paris, France.
"Zjarr e ftohtë" is a song by Albanian singer Luiz Ejlli. Klodian Qafoku composed the music while Florian Kondi wrote the lyrics. Musically, it is an Albanian-language pop song incorporating a southern Albanian folklore element in its instrumentation. The song represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece, after winning the pre-selection competition Festivali i Këngës 44. The country failed to qualify for the grand final in fourteenth place, marking the country's first non-qualification in the contest.

He was one of the founding members of the group West Side Family, which had great success with songs such as Tirona and Hou çike. Festivali i Këngës 60 was the 60th edition of the annual Albanian music competition Festivali i Këngës. It was organised by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, Albania, and consisted of two semi-finals on 27 and 28 December, respectively, and the final on 29 December 2021. The three live shows were directed by Redi Treni and hosted by Ardit Gjebrea, Isli Islami, Jonida Maliqi, Kelvi Kadilli and Xhemi Shehu. Ronela Hajati with the song "Sekret" emerged as the winner of the contest and represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy.
