The 1890–91 Welsh Amateur Cup was the first season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Wrexham Victoria who defeated Flint Town 4–1 in the final.

The 1891–92 Welsh Amateur Cup was the second season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Llandudno Swifts who defeated Wrexham Gymnasium 2–1 in the final.

The 1894–95 Welsh Amateur Cup was the fifth season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Caergwrle Wanderers who defeated Bangor Reserves 2–1 in the final, at Flint.

The 1895–96 Welsh Amateur Cup was the sixth season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Queensferry Ironopolis who defeated Shrewsbury Athletic 3–0 in the final, at The Racecourse, Wrexham.

The 1900–01 Welsh Amateur Cup was the eleventh season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Wrexham Victoria who defeated Singleton & Coles 1–0 in the final, at The Racecourse, Wrexham.

Wrexham Hibernians Football Club was a short-lived Welsh association football club based in Wrexham who played in the Welsh Cup during the 1890–91 season. They were nicknamed the Irishmen and were made up of people from the Irish diaspora. They were first mentioned in 1889 and last appeared in the local press in 1891. They played their home games off Bradley Road, Wrexham.

Wrexham Excelsior were a football club who played in the Welsh Cup in 1886–87, and 1887–88 season. The football club are first mentioned in 1884, and are presumed to have folded around 1895.
