Westminster Rovers F.C. was a Welsh football club based in Wrexham, Wales. [2]
Formed sometime around 1889 as the team of the Westminster Colliery, Westminster Rovers were runners up in the Welsh Cup in 1892 and 1894, on both occasions losing to Chirk. They were also founding members of the Welsh Senior League, a competition which they won in 1894. They are last mentioned in 1897. The name reappeared in 1919, for one season in the Ffrith and District League.

Ruabon Druids F.C. were a football club based in the village of Ruabon near Wrexham, Wales. The club was founded in October 1872 as 'Ruabon Rovers F.C.' by David Thomson and his brother, George, of Ruabon. In 1874 Ruabon Rovers F.C. became Plasmadoc F.C. before changing their name to Druids F.C. in 1876.

It was mainly made up of teams from the Wrexham area, with sporadic entrants from Mid Wales and the North Wales Coast. It was one of the first organised Football Leagues in Wales. The league was resurrected in September 1903 under the name the Wrexham and District League.

The 1891–92 Welsh Amateur Cup was the second season of the Welsh Amateur Cup. The cup was won by Llandudno Swifts who defeated Wrexham Gymnasium 2-1 in the final.

Wrexham Hibernians Football Club was a short-lived Welsh association football club based in Wrexham who played in the Welsh Cup during the 1890–91 season. They were nicknamed the Irishmen and were made up of people from the Irish diaspora. They were first mentioned in 1889 and last appeared in the local press in 1891. They played their home games off Bradley Road, Wrexham.

Llandudno Swifts were a football club from Llandudno who existed during the late Victorian era. The club were first mentioned in 1889. They competed in the Combination, North Wales Coast League, Welsh Cup, FA Cup and North Wales Coast Cup. The club was wound up in 1901 after a period of professionalism. Following the demise of Llandudno Swifts, a new team Llandudno Amateurs were formed.
