Michael Richard Adair (born January 19,1958) is an American former professional baseball coach and former player.
As a player,Adair played college baseball at Western Carolina University and was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 1979 Major League Baseball Draft. [1] [2] Injuries ended his career seven years later,having peaked at the Triple-A level. [2]
He has held various coaching jobs since the end of his playing career,mostly as a minor-league pitching coach,with the Cleveland Indians,San Diego Padres,Detroit Tigers,Atlanta Braves,and Toronto Blue Jays organizations. He held major league coaching jobs with Cleveland,Detroit,and Seattle. Prior to being appointed to his former position with Seattle,Adair spent four seasons as a minor-league pitching coordinator for the Texas Rangers.[ citation needed ]
He was suspended on September 11,1997,for 2 games after a postgame confrontation with the umpires. [3]
Adair served as pitching coach for the Seattle Mariners. [1] [4] In 2011,he was hired as the bullpen coach for the Baltimore Orioles. [5] Adair took over pitching coach Mark Connor's position after the latter resigned on June 14. [6] Adair went on a leave of absence for personal reasons and was succeeded as pitching coach by Bill Castro on August 16,2013. [7]
Adair is the nephew of former MLB pitcher and pitching coach Art Fowler. [8]

Frederick Wayne Honeycutt,nicknamed "Honey",is an American former professional baseball coach and pitcher. Honeycutt pitched in Major League Baseball (MLB) for six different teams over 21 years,from 1977 to 1997. He pitched in 30 post-season games,including 20 League Championship Series games and seven World Series games,and never lost a game,going 3–0. Honeycutt gave up no runs in the 1988 and 1990 post-seasons,and was a member of the Oakland Athletics' 1989 World Series championship team. He was also the pitching coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2006 through 2019.
William Radhames Castro Checo is a Dominican former professional baseball pitcher and former pitching coach for the Milwaukee Brewers of both the American League and National League. He was the interim pitching coach with the Baltimore Orioles of the American League. Gary Thorne of MASN reported in the broadcast of the August 27,2013 game between the Orioles and the Boston Red Sox that Castro succeeded Rick Adair because Adair had taken a leave of absence for personal reasons starting in August 2013. Gary Thorne,broadcasting the game between the Orioles and the Los Angeles Angels on July 5,2012,on MASN,announced that Castro became unavailable for that game because of a death in his family and returned home to the Dominican Republic.
James Louis Beattie is an American former professional baseball pitcher who played for the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners from 1978 to 1986. He also served as the Montreal Expos' general manager from 1995 to 2001,and was the Baltimore Orioles' general manager with Mike Flanagan from 2003 to 2005. As of 2010,Beattie served as a professional scout in the Toronto Blue Jays organization through the 2018 season. Beattie retired from his decades-long career in MLB at the end of the 2018 season. Beattie starred in baseball and basketball at South Portland High School in South Portland,Maine.

Waits,who threw left-handed,played all or part of twelve seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers (1973),Cleveland Indians (1975–83),and Milwaukee Brewers (1983–85). Waits served as minor league pitching coordinator for the Seattle Mariners organization before being named pitching coach for the Mariners under new manager Lloyd McClendon for the 2014 season.

Richard Avina Renteria is a Mexican-American former professional baseball infielder and former manager of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB). Renteria played in parts of five seasons between 1986 and 1994 with the Pittsburgh Pirates,Seattle Mariners,and Florida Marlins. He then coached and managed in the Marlins organization until 2001,and in the San Diego Padres organization until 2013. He was the manager of the Chicago Cubs in 2014. Renteria was also the bench coach for the Chicago White Sox in 2016.

During the 2013 season he worked as a scout for the New York Yankees in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He is currently the first-ever executive vice president of baseball operations with the Oakland Ballers.
Donald Paul Werner is an American former Major League Baseball catcher. He played during seven seasons at the major league level,playing for the Cincinnati Reds and Texas Rangers. In 1978,the Reds starting catcher,Johnny Bench,sat out 20 plus games with an injury which gave Don a starting role. On June 16 of the same year he caught the only no-hitter of Hall of Famer Tom Seaver's career. He was drafted by the Reds in the 5th round of the 1971 amateur draft after graduating from Appleton East High School. Werner played his first professional season with their Rookie League Gulf Coast Reds in 1971,and his last with Texas' Triple-A club,the Oklahoma RedHawks in 1988.

Hansen primarily played catcher during his playing career,but also played first base and third base on occasion. Before his current assignment with the Mariners,he was a catching consultant in their organization. Over his playing career,Hansen played for the rookie-level GCL Royals (1980),the Class-A Charleston Royals (1981–1982),the Class-A Fort Myers Royals (1983),the Double-A Jacksonville Suns (1983),the Double-A Memphis Chicks (1984–1985),the Triple-A Omaha Royals (1985–1986),the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts (1987),the Double-A Vermont Mariners (1988),the Double-A Williamsport Bills and the Triple-A Calgary Cannons. Hansen has never played in Major League Baseball.
