Riley Mahlman (born December 30, 2002) [1] is an American football offensive tackle for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Early life and high school

Mahlman grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota and attended Lakeville South High School, where he lettered in football and basketball. [2] He was a four-star rated recruit and committed to play college football for the University of Wisconsin–Madison over offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State. College career

During Mahlman's true freshman season in 2021, he played in only one game against Rutgers and was ultimately redshirted. [5] During the 2022 season, he played in seven games and started six of them at right tackle and finished the season with allowing only one sack. [6] During the 2023 season, he played in and started all 13 games at right tackle. [7]

Mahlman was named as an offensive tackle to know ahead of the 2025 NFL draft by Pro Football Focus. [8] [9]

Joseph Hayden Thomas is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 11 seasons with the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wisconsin, earned unanimous All-American honors, and was recognized as the top college interior lineman. The Browns chose Thomas with the third overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft. He was invited to the Pro Bowl in each of his first 10 seasons and did not miss a single play in his career until the 2017 season ; his 10,363 consecutive snaps played is the longest streak since the NFL began recording snap counts in 1999. He is regarded as one of the best offensive linemen of all time. In 2023, Thomas was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, becoming the first Cleveland Brown inductee since their reactivation in 1999.

Lakeville South High School (LSHS) is a high school located Lakeville, Minnesota, United States. To meet the needs of a growing population, in the early 2000s the district began construction of LSHS. LSHS enrolled students for the first time in fall 2005. Unlike LNHS, whose student come from a predominantly urban/suburban catchment area, LSHS pulls from the suburban/rural areas of Lakeville. This socioeconomic divide has contributed to the ferocity of the rivalry between LNHS and LSHS athletics. In addition, the close proximity and closeness of the community in the City of Lakeville also plays a large role in the strong community competition between the two high schools.

Thomas Allen Burke is a former American college and professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for four seasons. He played college football at University of Wisconsin and earned unanimous All-American honors. During the 1997–1998 season, Burke led all college football with 22 sacks and 31 total tackles for loss while helping Wisconsin to a Rose Bowl victory and #5 overall ranking. He was chosen 83rd overall in the 3rd round of the 1999 NFL Draft by the Arizona Cardinals and played all four years of his NFL career with Arizona.

He was awarded the 2010 Outland Trophy, as the nation's top collegiate interior lineman. He was also a unanimous All-American, and the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Thomas Johnson was an American football player. He played at the defensive and offensive tackle positions for the University of Michigan from 1948 to 1951. He was selected in the 6th round of the 1952 NFL draft and became the second African-American to play for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League (NFL).
