Lees Avenue is both a road and a neighbourhood in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The area lies in the narrow stretch between the Rideau Canal and Rideau River south of Sandy Hill and the Queensway and is part of Old Ottawa East. The neighbourhood is dominated by five large apartment buildings, some of the largest in Ottawa. These buildings range from low cost to moderate cost and mostly house new immigrants, students and young professionals. Across the Rideau River to the east Hurdman is a more recently built such area.

Col. Thomas Lee was a leading political figure in colonial Virginia. He was a member of the Lee family, a political dynasty which included many figures from the colonial era until the late twentieth century. Lee became involved in politics in 1710 and became the resident manager of the Northern Neck Proprietary for Lady Catherine Fairfax. After his father died, Lee inherited land in Northumberland and Charles County. Lee later acquired vast holdings in what are now Arlington, Fairfax, Fauquier, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties. These properties were developed as tobacco plantations.

Lees Camp is an unincorporated community in Tillamook County, Oregon, United States. It is along Oregon Route 6 about 25 miles (40 km) northeast of Tillamook at the confluence of the Wilson River and North Fork Wilson River, surrounded by the Tillamook State Forest. It is near the summit of the Northern Oregon Coast Range.

Sir William Henry Doyle is believed to be the first Bahamian Knighted by a British Monarch, he was Knighted in December 1873. He was appointed Chief Justice of the Bahamas on the 20th October 1864, after the resignation of John Campbell Lees. He held the position of Assistant Justice of the General Court before his promotion to Chief Justice of The Bahamas, a position he was appointed to in 1858. In March 1875, he was appointed as Chief Justice of the Leeward Islands and later appointed as Chief Justice of Gibraltar from 1877 to 1879.
John Campbell Lees was Chief Justice of the Bahamas from 1836 or 1837 to 1865. He was also a judge of the Vice Admiralty Court of the Bahamas.
