Grafton County is a county in the U.S. state of New Hampshire. As of the 2020 census, the population was 91,118. Its county seat is North Haverhill, a village within the town of Haverhill. Until 1972, the county courthouse and other offices were in downtown Woodsville, a larger village within the town of Haverhill.

Stevens High School is the only public high school in Claremont, New Hampshire, United States. It is in the center of the city on the corner of Broad and Summer streets. It was founded in 1868, the result of a $20,000 donation by Paran Stevens to Claremont with the proviso that the city appropriate a like sum. In the early 1990s, the school gained status as the host to one of the earlier Apple Macintosh user groups, primarily attended by high school faculty. Stevens High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges as well as the State of New Hampshire Department of Education.
Dartmouth–Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), the flagship campus of the Dartmouth Health system, is the U.S. state of New Hampshire's only academic medical center. DHMC is a 486-inpatient bed hospital and serves as a major tertiary-care referral site for patients throughout northern New England. As an academic medical center, DHMC offers primary, specialty and subspecialty care as well as education and research in partnership with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, one of America's oldest medical schools, as well as the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice.

New Hampshire Route 12 is a 62.773-mile (101.023 km) long north-south state highway in southwestern New Hampshire. Its southern terminus is at the Massachusetts state line in Fitzwilliam, where it continues south as Massachusetts Route 12. Its northern terminus is at the Vermont state line in Claremont, where it continues north as Vermont Route 12. Most of the northern part of NH 12 runs along the Connecticut River.

NHTI – Concord's Community College is a public community college in Concord, New Hampshire. It is part of the Community College System of New Hampshire and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The college, which opened in 1965, was known as New Hampshire Technical Institute until 2007, when its current name was adopted to reflect its growth as a community college with broad offerings in both technical and general education.
Lebanon College was a two-year private not-for-profit college located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. It was founded in 1956, and closed in 2014, due to financial difficulties. In 2015 Lebanon College facilities and certain programs were purchased by the public community college system of New Hampshire. After renovations to the main academic building, the Lebanon campus of River Valley Community College opened in January 2016.
The Claremont–Lebanon Micropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of four counties – two in New Hampshire and two in Vermont, anchored by the cities of Lebanon, New Hampshire and Claremont, New Hampshire. At the 2010 census, the area was defined as two separate Micropolitan Statistical Areas (μSAs), Claremont and Lebanon. The Claremont μSA, consisting of Sullivan County, New Hampshire, had a population of 43,742, while the Lebanon μSA, comprising Grafton County, New Hampshire, and Orange and Windsor counties in Vermont, had a population of 174,724. In 2013, the two areas were combined to form the Claremont-Lebanon μSA, and in 2015 the estimated population was 216,923. The Claremont–Lebanon μSA is the most populous micropolitan area in the United States.
