The River Valley League is a high school athletic league in California, United States, that is part of the CIF Southern Section. Member schools are located in Riverside. [1] [2] [3] Moreno Valley High School left the league to join the Mountain Valley League.

Valley Christian Schools (VCS) is a private Christian K-12 school located in Los Angeles County, California. It is one of the largest in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. It was founded in 1935 and has 4 campuses enrolling more than 1,300 students. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is the governing body of interscholastic sports for most public schools in New York outside New York City. The organization was created in 1923, after a predecessor organization called the New York State Public High School Association of Basketball Leagues began in 1921 to bring consistency to eligibility rules and to conduct state tournaments. It consists of 768 member high schools from the state divided into 11 geographic sections. While as its name suggests the vast majority of its members are public, it does include a number of private and Catholic high schools. Most of these are located in Central New York and the Capital District, where parallel sanctioning bodies for private schools do not exist. It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations as well as the New York State Federation of Secondary School Athletic Associations.
Laurier Heights is a residential neighbourhood in west Edmonton, Alberta, Canada overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. A portion of the neighbourhood along Buena Vista Road is located in the river valley, and this portion is sometimes called Buena Vista.
Palomares League is a high school athletic league in Southern California. It is a member of the CIF Southern Section, serving the eastern San Gabriel Valley and Chino Hills in San Bernardino County. Member schools were located in San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara counties. Prior to the 2014–15 school year, the conference was known as the Pac-7 League; Mission Prep High School joined as the eighth member. The Pac-8 League was dissolved in 2018 after its member schools left the CIF-SS for the CIF Central Section and formed a new conference, the Central Coast Athletic Conference, with members of the Los Padres League.

The three southernmost Los Padres League members — Lompoc, Cabrillo, and Santa Ynez high schools — remained in the CIF-SS as part of the Channel League.
