Rob Auton is an English stand-up comedian, writer, actor, poet and podcaster. He is best known for his series of shows titled after and focusing on a specific subject, performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe each year since 2012.
Auton started performing live in 2008, before having his first hour-long show, The Yellow Show, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2012, as well as touring it around the UK in 2013. The show was later made into a short film as part of Channel 4's Random Acts series. Since then, he has performed a new show each year as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with each one being entirely centred around a very specific subject, from which the show's title is taken.
Auton is also a poet and illustrator, with his work having been published in a series of books by Burning Eye Books.
He is a member of Bang Said The Gun, a stand-up poetry collective founded by Dan Cockrill and Martin Galton, who perform regularly in London and have featured poets such as Roger McGough, Andrew Motion and John Hegley.
In 2013, Auton won the Dave Funniest Joke of the Edinburgh Fringe Award for "I heard a rumour that Cadbury is bringing out an oriental chocolate bar. Could be a Chinese Wispa". [1]
As part of the 2014 Glastonbury Festival, Auton was given the position of poet-in-residence. [2]
Auton has performed stand-up on shows including The Russell Howard Hour and Stand Up Central , and made his acting debut in 2018 as part of the long-running TV series Cold Feet .
In 2019, following the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Auton performed The Time Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, as well as touring it throughout the UK.
In 2020, Auton started a podcast titled The Rob Auton Daily Podcast, with a new episode posted every day during the year. It subsequently won the award for The Best Daily Podcast at the 2020 British Podcast Awards. [3] The podcast returned for daily episodes in 2024.

They regularly produce podcasts under the Pappy's Flatshare heading, and created and starred in the BBC Three sitcom Badults.
Nicholas Tristan Phillip Helm is an English comedian, actor and rock musician known for his comedic confrontational delivery. His routines have been described as "brash and bullish". Many of his performances begin with him acting calmly and see him gradually getting more and more enraged about what he is talking about. He came to prominence following the success of his 2010 Edinburgh Fringe show Keep Hold of the Gold. In 2014, Helm made his main acting debut as lead character Andy in the BBC Three sitcom Uncle.
Joseph Roland Wilkinson is an English comedian, actor and screenwriter. He began his comedy career in 2004 and has supported Alan Carr and Russell Howard on tour. He has also made numerous appearances on television programmes such as Live at the Electric and has been touring solo since 2011. He began appearing on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown in 2012, initially as Rachel Riley's assistant. He has since gone on to become a frequent panellist or guest team captain. He is also in the comedy duo Two Episodes of Mash, alongside Diane Morgan. In 2019 Wilkinson won a celebrity special version of The Great British Bake Off.

Nathan Cassidy is a British comedian and podcaster. In 2021, he was nominated for an Off West End Stage Award for his show 'Bumblebee' along with nominations for Best Comedy Show at the Greater Manchester Fringe and Buxton Fringe. 'Bumblebee' was released as an Amazon Prime Special in 2022. In 2022, he was nominated for Best Standup at the Buxton Fringe for his show 'Hot Tub God' and this show along with his show 'Observational' were awarded with the Best Standup Award at the Brighton Fringe 2022. For his shows 'Amnesia' and 'Fifty' he was awarded with the Best Standup Award at the Brighton Fringe 2023 and 'Fifty' was nominated for Best Standup at the Buxton Fringe 2023. This show was widely reported in the press as the only live show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2020. The show was given four stars by The Times which reviewed it as 'The best show at the Fringe. Previously he was nominated for a Malcolm Hardee Award in 2012, won best solo comedy show on the Buxton Fringe in 2014, and was nominated for the same award in 2015, 2016, 2017 2019, and 2021.
