Rob Nizet (born 14 April 2002) is a Gambian-born professional footballer who plays as a defender for Eredivisie side Willem II. He is a Belgium youth international. [1]

Club career

Born in The Gambia, [2] he was in the youth academy at RSCA Futures prior to joining Norwich City during the 2019-2020 season. [3] He joined Italian side Lecce in August 2021. [4]

He joined Lommel S.K. in Belgium in January 2023. [5] [6] He joined Willem II in January 2024, agreeing to an eighteen month contract. [7] He scored his first goal for the club in a 4-1 Eerste Divisie win over Jong AZ in April 2024. [8] The following month, he gained promotion to the Eredivisie with Willem II. [9]

International career

He made his debut for the Belgium national under-17 football team in September 2018. [10]
