Robert Julian Barbieri (born 5 June 1984) is a Canadian-born Italian retired rugby union player. He played as a flanker. He decided to represent Italy.
He played for Yeomen (2000–03) in Canada, before moving to the Italian side Overmach Rugby Parma (2003–07). Barbieri then went to play for Benetton Treviso.
On 21 May 2014, Barbieri moved to England to join Leicester Tigers, who compete in the Aviva Premiership, for the 2014-15 season. [1] However, on 14 April 2015, Barbieri rejoined Benetton Treviso in the Pro12. [2]
On 9 May 2019, Barbieri was released by Benetton Treviso and subsequently ended his playing career.
Barbieri's first game for Italy was in the 52–6 win over Japan, on 9 June 2006, on the same day that his brother, Michael Barbieri, earned his first cap for Canada in Toronto against England. Robert Barbieri was a member of the Italian squad in the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals, but was ruled out because of injury. He took part in the 2011 Rugby World Cup. His final national team call-up was in summer 2017 for a test match in Singapore.[ citation needed ]
Martin Edward Corry MBE is a retired English rugby union player who represented and captained England and Leicester Tigers in a career spanning 14 seasons. Corry played 64 times for England between 1997 and 2007, played 7 tests for the British & Irish Lions on tours in 2001 & 2005, and played 290 times for Leicester between 1997 and 2009. Earlier in his career he played top division rugby for Newcastle Gosforth and Bristol. A versatile player his principal positions were number eight and blindside flanker, he also played lock more as his career progressed.
Benetton Rugby, also known as Benetton Treviso, is an Italian professional rugby union team based in Treviso, Veneto competing in the United Rugby Championship, the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Champions Cup. Treviso rugby team was founded in 1932 and has won 15 Italian national championships. The team has been owned by the Benetton clothing company since 1979. Treviso have competed in the United Rugby Championship since 2010, and have previously competed in the Italian domestic championship.

Paul Gustard is a former rugby union footballer who played for Leicester Tigers, London Irish and Saracens at flanker. He was captain of rugby and educated at the Royal Grammar School in Newcastle and is the son of former Gosforth favourite Steve Gustard, who was the club's leading try scorer for several seasons in the late 1970s. He gained Full County Cap honours with Durham County and was selected to captain the England U21 tour to Australia under manager Jeff Probyn. He was the only player not to be attached to a Premiership Rugby Squad.
