Troon Football Club are a Scottish football team based in Ayrshire. They compete in the West of Scotland Football League.
Thomas Henderson Docherty, commonly known as The Doc, was a Scottish football player and manager. Docherty played for several clubs, most notably Preston North End, and represented Scotland 25 times between 1951 and 1959. He then managed a total of 13 clubs between 1961 and 1988, as well as the Scottish national team. John Gerald Brogan is a Scottish professional football player and manager. He played for several Scottish clubs in the 1970s and 1980s, scoring 273 goals in all competitions during his career. He remains St Johnstone's record goalscorer.
