Robert Ndrenika (born 10 January 1942) is an Albanian actor and former politician. He was honored with the People's Artist of Albania award in 1988. [1] He was active in films, but also in theater and television performing hundreds of leading and supporting roles.

Biography

Ndrenika studied at the Qemal Stafa High School, in Tirana, Albania. [2]

Ndrenika has been a member of Parliament of Albania during 1992–1996, representing Democratic Party of Albania. [3]

In 1998, Ndrenika was honoured with People's Artist of Albania decoration, becoming one of the few actors to have this decoration. [3] In 2012, Ndrenika was decorated with Honor of Nation Order by president Bamir Topi for his contributions in Albanian cinematography. [3]

Ndrenika has two daughters. [4] His wife Polikseni Ndrenika, died in 2008. [4] The loss of his wife kept Ndrenika away from acting for the next four years. [4] He returned on stage in April 2012. [4]
