Green was selected by the Bengals with the fourth overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft, where he spent 10 seasons prior to joining the Arizona Cardinals for two years. In 2023, Green signed a one-day deal with the Bengals, and officially retired as a member of the Cincinnati organization.
