Robin Figren (born March 7, 1988) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Figren was selected 70th overall in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders.
Figren played junior hockey with Swedish team Frölunda HC. After impressive performances in the J20 SuperElit, Robin played 2 games as a 17-year-old in the Elitserien. After the draft Figren played in the Western Hockey League for the Calgary Hitmen and Edmonton Oil Kings.
In the 2008–09 season, Figren played his first professional season, returning to the Elitserien with Djurgårdens IF. Upon the completion of Djurgården season he was assigned to the Islanders AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers to finish the year.
On April 20, 2011, Figren left the Islanders organization and returned to Sweden, signing a one-year with Linköpings HC of the Elitserien. [1] After four seasons with Frölunda HC, including capturing the Le Mat trophy in the 2015–16 season, Figren left the club as a free agent following the 2016–17 season, agreeing to a two-year contract with current champions, HV71, on May 10, 2017. [2]
On June 24, 2019, Figren joined EHC Kloten of the Swiss League (SL) on a one-year deal. [3] Figren remained with Kloten for three seasons, establishing himself as an offensive leader on the club and helping the team gain promotion and return to the National League in the 2021–22 season before announcing his retirement from professional hockey on 18 August 2022. [4]
Figren was well known for his "zorro" goal for Sweden in the 2008 WJC tournament. [5]

The Swedish Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season.

Jacob Peter Josefson is a Swedish former professional ice hockey centre who last played for Djurgårdens IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). After Josefson began playing hockey at the age of five, he was acquired by Djurgården's youth organization at the age of ten, where he also began playing junior hockey in 2005. Josefson made his Elitserien debut on 28 February 2008, against Timrå IK, and became a regular member of Djurgården's senior team. His achievements in the Swedish Elitserien drew attention from NHL and he was selected in the first round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils, 20th overall. Josefson played with Djurgården for an additional season, before signing with the Devils in May 2010 and played for them until 2017 when he left for the Buffalo Sabres.

The 2009–10 Djurgårdens IF Hockey season was the club's 34th season in the Swedish elite league Elitserien. Hardy Nilsson returned to Djurgården as head coach on March 2, 2009. Nilsson previously coached Djurgården during the 1999–2000 and the 2000–01 seasons. The club became Swedish champions during both of these seasons. Djurgården lost last season's scoring leader when Fredrik Bremberg moved to Atlant Moscow Oblast. The team was later reinforced by former NHL and Djurgården player Marcus Nilson. Marcus Ragnarsson replaced Jimmie Ölvestad as team captain on August 7, 2009. The regular season started on away ice on September 24, 2009 against HV71 and was concluded on March 13, 2010 away against Frölunda HC. Djurgården reached the final in the playoff rounds, where the team lost 4–2 in games against HV71.
The 2009–10 Elitserien season was the 35th season of Elitserien. It started on September 21, 2009 and ended on March 13, 2010. The playoffs started on March 18, 2010 and ended on April 24, 2010. HV71 won the playoffs, beating Timrå IK 4–1 in the quarter final series, Skellefteå AIK 4–1 in the semifinal series, and Djurgårdens IF 4–2 in the final series. The season had a mid-season break that started on February 9 and ended on February 26 to allow participation of Elitserien players in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
