Robin Schiff is an American screenwriter and producer, best known for the film Romy and Michele's High School Reunion starring Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino. [1] Schiff was a member of the comedy troupe The Groundlings. She hosts an interview series once a year for the Writers Guild Foundation called Anatomy Of A Script, [2] where she and Winnie Holzman (writer of the musical Wicked and creator of My So Called Life ) discuss the craft with other well-known writers. Schiff also teaches a writing class with Wendy Goldman (whom she met at The Groundlings) called Improv For Writing.

She was the creator and supervising producer for Princesses , CBS, 1991. She was the supervising producer and creative consultant for Delta , CBS, 1992–93. She was the consulting producer for Party of Five , Fox, 1994–2000. She was the creator and executive producer for Almost Perfect , CBS, 1995–96. She was the consulting producer for Thanks , CBS, 1999. She was the executive producer for Grosse Pointe , The WB, 2000–2001. She was the consulting producer for Coupling , NBC, 2003 and for Miss Match , NBC, 2003. [3]
Schiff produced the Netflix series Emily in Paris and Uncoupled with Darren Star. She was an executive producer of the YouTube Red series Sideswiped in 2018.
David Mirkin is an American feature film and television director, writer and producer. Mirkin grew up in Philadelphia and intended to become an electrical engineer, but abandoned this career path in favor of studying film at Loyola Marymount University. After graduating, he became a stand-up comedian, and then moved into television writing. He wrote for the sitcoms Three's Company, It's Garry Shandling's Show and The Larry Sanders Show and served as showrunner on the series Newhart. After an unsuccessful attempt to remake the British series The Young Ones, Mirkin created Get a Life in 1990. The series starred comedian Chris Elliott and ran for two seasons, despite a lack of support from many Fox network executives, who disliked the show's dark and surreal humor. He moved on to create the sketch show The Edge starring his then-partner, actress Julie Brown.

The series earned her Primetime Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, Satellite, American Comedy and TV Guide awards. Phoebe has since been named one of the greatest television characters of all time and is considered to be Kudrow's breakout role, spawning her successful film career.
Romy and Michele's High School Reunion is a 1997 American comedy film directed by David Mirkin and starring Mira Sorvino, Lisa Kudrow, and Janeane Garofalo. The plot revolves around two 28-year-old women who appear to have not achieved much success in life, and decide to invent fake careers to impress former classmates at their ten-year high school reunion. The characters are taken from the stage play Ladies Room, which also featured Kudrow.

Joanne Brough was an American television producer and executive. She began her career in 1960 at KTLA, a Los Angeles television station, and went on to work for CBS Television from 1963 to 1978, rising through the ranks to become one of the first female network development executives. She oversaw and developed such hit shows as All in the Family, Kojak, Hawaii Five-O, M*A*S*H, Knots Landing, Eight Is Enough, The Waltons, Dallas, Falcon Crest, and others. From 1978 to 1986, she joined Lorimar Productions, becoming Vice President of Creative Affairs, supervising all television programs. During her tenure there, she became Executive Producer of Falcon Crest, as well as several movies for television. In 1990, she went to work for Lee Rich Productions in association with Warner Brothers, as a development executive, producing TV films and specials for three years. From 1993 to 1998, she took on the task of producing television in Singapore and Indonesia. Her later years were spent as an educator while she continued to develop new projects.
