Roderick Alonso Miller Molina (born 3 April 1992) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Azerbaijan Premier League club Turan Tovuz and the Panama national team. [2]

Club career

In 2014, Miller had a spell in Mexican football with Mérida. [3]

On 21 January 2019, FC Okzhetpes announced the signing of Miller on a one-year contract. [4] Miller left Okzhetpes by mutual consent on 25 July 2019. [5]

In September 2021, Miller made a surprise move to Iraq for Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.

On 22 March 2023, Turan Tovuz announced the signing of Miller to a three-month contract, with the option of an additional year. [6]

International career

Miller was part of the Panama U-20 squad that played at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia. [7]

He made his senior debut for Panama in an October 2011 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Dominica and has, as of 10 June 2015, earned a total of 10 caps, scoring no goals including a 2012 unofficial match against Guyana. He represented his country at the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup. [8]

The Turan Tovuz 2011–12 season was Turan Tovuz's twentieth Azerbaijan Premier League season. Turan Tovuz started the season under the management of Asgar Abdullayev, but he resigned and was replaced by Afghan Talybov on 12 October 2012. Turan Tovuz ended the season in 11th-place resulting in relegation to the Azerbaijan First Division for the 2013–14 season. They also participated in the 2012–13 Azerbaijan Cup getting knocked out in the second round on penalties to Khazar Lankaran after the game ended 1-1.

The 2019 FC Taraz season was the club's first season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League following their relegation at the end of the 2017 season, and 28th season in total. Taraz finished the season in 10th position, qualifying for a two-legged Relegation play-off against FC Akzhayik. After a 0-0 draw in the first leg away in Oral, Taraz won the second leg 3-1 to retain their place in the Kazakhstan Premier League for the 2020 season. Taraz also participated in the Kazakhstan Cup, where they were defeated by FC Ordabasy in the Quarterfinals.
