Tel Aviv University (TAU) is a public research university in Tel Aviv, Israel. With over 30,000 students, it is the largest university in the country. Located in northwest Tel Aviv, the university is the center of teaching and research of the city, comprising 9 faculties, 17 teaching hospitals, 18 performing arts centers, 27 schools, 106 departments, 340 research centers, and 400 laboratories.
Menachem Elon (Hebrew: ) was an Israeli jurist and Professor of Law specializing in Mishpat Ivri, an Orthodox rabbi, and a prolific author on traditional Jewish law (Halakha). He was the head of the Jewish Law Institute of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Aharon Barak is an Israeli lawyer and jurist who served as President of the Supreme Court of Israel from 1995 to 2006. Prior to this, Barak served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Israel from 1978 to 1995, and before this as Attorney General of Israel from 1975 to 1978.
Dorit Beinisch is a retired Israeli jurist. She was the 9th president of the Supreme Court of Israel. Moshe Landau was an Israeli judge. He served on the Supreme Court of Israel from 1953 until his retirement in 1982. Landau was the fifth President of the Supreme Court, from 1980 to 1982.

Ayala Procaccia is a retired Israeli Justice of the Supreme Court of Israel. Before being elected to the Supreme Court in 2001, she served as a judge in the Jerusalem Magistrates’ Court until 1993 and in the Jerusalem District Court from 1993 to 2001. While active in the Israeli law courts, Ayala Procaccia worked to change Israeli law to champion equality for all, regardless of gender or religion. Proponents of Procaccia say that she strives for an equitable and just society; critics of her work said that she promoted a judicial dictatorship over the government.

David Kretzmer is an Israeli expert in international and constitutional law. Kretzmer is a member of the Israeli Law Professors' Forum for Democracy, established in 2023 to respond to the Israeli coalition's plans for changes in the legal system.

Arie Reich is an Israeli legal scholar specializing in international trade law and European Union Law. He is a full professor at the Bar-Ilan University Faculty of Law, and serves as the Vice Rector of the university. He previously served as the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Dean of students.
Yoram Rabin is an Israeli legal scholar. He is a Full Professor serving as the president of the College of Management in Israel, the country's first and largest private college. In October 2015 Rabin was appointed legal adviser of the Israeli State Comptroller. Rabin has written and edited several books on public law, human rights and criminal law. He is one of the founding members of the Movement for Freedom of Information in Israel. In 2003/4, he was a member of the National Committee on Education Reform.

Ariel Porat is the president of Tel Aviv University (TAU), a full professor and former dean at TAU's Buchmann Faculty of Law. Until his appointment as president, he was a distinguished visiting professor of law at the University of Chicago Law School. He is a member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, incumbent of the Alain Poher Chair in Private Law at TAU, and recipient of The EMET Prize for Art, Science and Culture for Legal Research.
Michal Alberstein is an expert in the field of conflict resolution and reconstruction of legal thought. Alberstein is the Dean of The Faculty of Law, Bar-Ilan University, the Primary Investigator on an ERC consolidator grant to study Judicial Conflict Resolution (JCR) and the academic chairperson of “Israeli hope” project, supported by the president of Israel and High Council of Education.
Yedidia Stern is an Israeli jurist and legal scholar. He is an emeritus professor of law at Bar Ilan University and the president and CEO of the Jewish People Policy Institute.
