Noah is an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Andika as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist. The band currently consists of three members: Ariel, Lukman, and David; and is currently on hiatus since New Year 2024.

Ratu was an Indonesian music duo formed in 1999 with Maia Estianty, then the wife of musician Ahmad Dhani, on instruments and Pinkan Mambo on vocals. Ratu entered the Indonesian musical scene with their first album, Bersama. After a short break caused by Mambo's departure in 2004, the group formed anew with Mulan Kwok as vocalist. This new line-up proved more successful, with their most successful songs – "Teman Tapi Mesra" and "Lelaki Buaya Darat" ("Womaniser") – released in this period; both song titles later became common terms in the Indonesian vocabulary. The group's second studio album, No. Satu, sold 200,000 copies on the day of its release, a record for an album by an Indonesian female group. The group dissolved in 2007.

She was the winner of the A3 category at the 2017 Sanremo Junior children's international solo singing competition in Sanremo, Italy, and the winner of the tenth season of Indonesian Idol. In both competitions, Lyodra practiced the use of the whistle register, which is the highest range of the human voice. She was listed as the youngest Indonesian Idol champion, at the age of 16 years and 256 days. She was awarded "Best Children Female Solo Artist" from 20th Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, and "Best New Asian Artist in Indonesia" from 2021 Mnet Asian Music Award. In addition, Lyodra was nominated for "Best Southeast Asian Act" from 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards.

Melangkah Di Atas Awan is an Indonesian musical fantasy television series that was first aired on Indosiar for nineteen episodes between September 1997 and March 1998. Directed and co-written by Putu Wijaya, the series centers on Indra, a college student who gave his first salary and share his feelings with his mother, Diah. Indra has strong relationships with his widow Ayu, and his housekeeper Haryati. Overarching themes include a focus on love and relationships as well as the importances of socialisation and humanity.
"Melangkah Di Atas Awan" is a song recorded by Indonesian singer and actor Ronnie Sianturi of Trio Libels, who provides the singing voice of Yudi. The song was first made available in the Indosiar musical television series of the same name on September 11, 1997, before it was officially released as a single of his album of the same name in December 1997 through Musica Studios as the song's distributor. It marked Sianturi's first solo single in three years, since "Sudikah Kamu" (1994). The song was primarily composed, arranged and produced by Dwiki Dharmawan, with its lyrics penned by the frequent Starvision collaborator Eddy D. Iskandar.
