Joseph Rosaire Wilfrid Paiement (born August 12, 1945) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. He is the older brother of Wilf Paiement.
Paiement started his National Hockey League career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1967. He also played for the Vancouver Canucks. He left the NHL after the 1972 season to play in the World Hockey Association. There, he played for the Chicago Cougars, New England Whalers, and Indianapolis Racers. He now lives in the Fort Lauderdale area and is part owner of Jester's Bar & Grill, a local sports bar.

Shayne Paul Corson is a Canadian former professional hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Montreal Canadiens, Edmonton Oilers, St. Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Dallas Stars. During his NHL career, Corson battled both ulcerative colitis and, as detailed in the October 22, 2001, issue of Sports Illustrated, panic attacks. He last played in the 2003–04 season. Despite some speculation to the contrary, Corson did not return to the NHL after the 2004–05 lockout and is now retired.

Leighton Alfred Emms was a Canadian ice hockey player, coach, team owner, and general manager, during nearly 60 years in hockey. Emms played 17 seasons of professional hockey as a left winger and a defenceman, including 10 seasons and 320 games in the National Hockey League. After playing, Emms had a 33-year presence in the Ontario Hockey Association, as the owner of the Barrie Flyers, Niagara Falls Flyers, and St. Catharines Black Hawks between 1945 and 1978. Teams that Emms coached or owned appeared in eight Memorial Cup tournaments, winning four Memorial Cups. He was nicknamed "Happy Emms" due to the sour look on his face, which was later shortened to "Hap Emms".
Simon Laurent Nolet is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played ten seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), most notably for the Philadelphia Flyers. He was a member of the Philadelphia Flyers 1974 Stanley Cup-winning team, after earlier winning the 1965 Allan Cup championship of senior ice hockey with the Sherbrooke Castors.

The Colorado Rockies were an American professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL) that played in Denver from 1976 to 1982. They were founded as the Kansas City Scouts, an expansion team that began play in the NHL in the 1974–75 season. The Scouts moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to Denver for the 1976–77 season. After six seasons in Denver, the franchise moved to East Rutherford, New Jersey, for the 1982–83 season and was renamed the New Jersey Devils. Denver went without an NHL team until the Quebec Nordiques relocated to become the Colorado Avalanche following the 1994–95 season. The Rockies name itself would be applied to Denver's Major League Baseball expansion team that began play in 1993.
Daniel Marois is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger who played eight seasons in the National Hockey League from 1987–88 until 1995–96. He played in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Islanders, Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars. He is the uncle of former NHL player Mathieu Perreault.
Dennis Daniel "Polo" Polonich is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who spent his entire National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Detroit Red Wings. He was selected in the eighth round, 118th overall, by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1973 NHL Amateur Draft. Polonich was the first NHL player to be awarded damages from a civil suit for an on-ice incident.
Réal Paiement is a Canadian hockey coach. He coached the Acadie-Bathurst Titan of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) after spending over two years coaching professional hockey in Europe. His last stint in the QMJHL was serving as head coach and general manager of the St. John's Fog Devils in 2007-2008. He proceeded to coach in The Swiss League, the second tier professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, from 2008-2011 before becoming head coach of the University of Ottawa Men’s Hockey Club from 2011-2014. Paiement was dismissed as head coach by the University of Ottawa in 2014 following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving players on the team.
The 1979–80 Colorado Rockies season was the franchise's fourth season in Colorado and their sixth in the NHL. Trying to jolt the fan base and create some excitement for the club, the team hired Don Cherry, who had been fired by the Boston Bruins, and installed him as the new head coach. In addition, a major mid-season trade netted the Rockies legendary goal-scorer and future Hall-of-Famer Lanny McDonald from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Alexander Olegovich Burmistrov is a Russian professional ice hockey centre currently playing for HC Spartak Moscow of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets franchise as well as the Arizona Coyotes, before leaving the NHL after a short stint with the Vancouver Canucks. Burmistrov won the Gagarin Cup with Ak Bars Kazan in 2018.
