Rostov-on-Don North is an airbase of the Russian Aerospace Forces located in Rostov-on-Don, Rostov Oblast, Russia.
The base is home to the 30th Independent Composite Transport Aviation Regiment flying Antonov An-12BK, Antonov An-26, Antonov An-148, Ilyushin Il-20M, Mil Mi-24P/V, Mil Mi-26/26T/T3 under the 4th Air and Air Defence Forces Army. [1]

From 2009 it has sometimes been known as Srednii. It has significant ramp space and 38 bomber revetments.
Tiksi Aerodrome is located 1 km (0.6 mi) northeast of Tiksi, Russia, and was built in the 1950s as a staging base for Soviet Long Range Aviation bombers to reach the United States. It is used regularly by Tupolev Tu-95 aircraft in military exercises, including one in 1999, in which bombers practice travelling to the Canadian arctic. Two other nearby airfields known as Tiksi North and Tiksi West have been abandoned for decades, and are probably unusable, according to satellite imagery.

Khmeimim Air Base, also Hmeimim Air Base, is a Syrian airbase currently operated by Russia, located south-east of the city of Latakia in Hmeimim, Latakia Governorate, Syria. The airbase shares some airfield facilities with Bassel Al-Assad International Airport. The legal status of the base is regulated by a treaty Russia and Syria signed in August 2015. At the end of 2017, Russia said it had decided to turn the Khmeimim base into a component of its permanent military contingent stationed in Syria.

According to some Ukrainian officials, Ukrainian military forces attacked the Millerovo air base with OTR-21 Tochka missiles, destroying Russian Air Force planes and setting the airbase on fire.
