Rotkreuzplatz is an U-Bahn station in Munich, Germany, on the U1. It was opened on 28 May 1983, the extension onwards to Westfriedhof was not opened until 1998. [2] The station is also served by route of the Munich tramway. [3]
Munich Marienplatz is an important stop on the Munich S-Bahn and U-Bahn network, located under the square of the same name in Munich's city centre. The S-Bahn lines , , , , , and intersect with the U-Bahn lines and . The station is one of the most frequently used stations in the network, with up to 24,400 people transferring and 8,000 passengers entering or exiting each hour. In 2007, 175,400 people used the station daily on weekdays, including entries, exits and transfers.
Munich East station is a railway station in Munich, the state capital of Bavaria, Germany. It opened as Haidhausen station in 1871 on the new Munich–Mühldorf and Munich–Rosenheim railway lines. The station is operated by DB Station&Service, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG, and is classified as a Category 1 station, one of 21 in Germany and two in Munich, the other being München Hauptbahnhof. It is the city's third interregional station besides München Hauptbahnhof in the city centre and München-Pasing in the west.
Alte Heide is an U-Bahn station in Munich on the U6. It was opened on 19 October 1971.
Munich-Neuperlach Süd (south) station is shared by the Munich S-Bahn and the Munich U-Bahn in the district of Neuperlach in the Bavarian capital of Munich. It is one of the six above-ground stations of the Munich U-Bahn network and the only above-ground station on line U 5. The U-Bahn station was opened on 18 October 1980. The S-Bahn station was opened on 17 December 1977. It has three platforms, two for the U-Bahn and one for the S-Bahn. It is served S-Bahn line S 7, which runs from Kreuzstraße through the center of Munich to Wolfratshausen. Track 1 has a side platform and is used by the U-Bahn services running into the city. Incoming U-Bahn services stop at track 2 on a central platform, which provides cross-platform interchange with the S-Bahn, which stops on track 3. The station is the terminus of U-Bahn line U 5 and is built on a bridge over Carl-Wery-Straße. The station was rebuilt from 2007 to 2009 and now has a new roof, displays and signs. At the end of the station there is a parking area for U-Bahn trains. It has two entrances one east of Carl-Wery-Straße and one to the west. The eastern exit leads to the Siemens ZFE site, once the largest corporate research centre in Europe, employing roughly 14,000 at its peak in the early 1990s. The same exit leads to a parking lot. The west entrance leads to the bus terminal.
Munich Karlsplatz is an underground S-Bahn and U-Bahn station below the Karlsplatz in central Munich. It is one of the busiest stations in Munich, as it is located at the western end of Munich's Altstadt.
Georg-Brauchle-Ring is an U-Bahn station in Munich on the U1. It is located below the Georg-Brauchle-Ring, part of Munich's Mittlerer Ring ring road system. It opened on 18 October 2003. Artist Franz Ackermann produced two coloured walls for the station entitled The Great Journey and consisting of 400 panels, each wall weighing 30 tons.
Westfriedhof is an U-Bahn station in Munich on the U1 line of the Munich U-Bahn system, it opened on 24 May 1998, the extension onwards to Georg-Brauchle-Ring was completed in 2003. It is located in the course of the second main line on the border between the Munich districts Neuhausen-Nymphenburg and Moosach.

Munich Rosenheimer Platz station is one five underground station opened in 1972 on the trunk line of the Munich S-Bahn between Munich Central Station and Munich East station. It is under the street of the same name and Rosenheimerstraße in the Munich district of Haidhausen. It has two platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.
Munich Hackerbrücke station is a station opened in 1972 on the Munich S-Bahn network below Hackerbrücke that is close to Munich Central Station. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station and has a 211 metre long central platform between two platform tracks and is located directly in front of a 3.2 percent drop into the S-Bahn trunk line tunnel. Immediately to the south is the Munich Hauptbahnhof signal box, which monitors and controls all the track work at the Central Station and on the adjoining lines.
Munich-Moosach station is a station in the Moosach district of Munich, the capital of the German state of Bavaria. It consists of an above-ground station for regional and Munich S-Bahn services and an underground station for the Munich U-Bahn.
Munich Hirschgarten is a Munich S-Bahn railway station on the main line between Laim and Donnersbergerbrücke railway stations at Friedenheimer Brücke. It was opened in December 2009 and provides transportation access for the new quarter under development at Birketweg nearby. In early planning stages, the proposed name was "Friedenheimer Brücke". The station is served by the lines S1, S2, S3, S4, S6 and S8 of the Munich S-Bahn network, which connect the station with the city centre, Munich Airport and suburban areas. Each of these lines run services every 20 minutes, with some increased to every 10 minutes during peak hours, therefore connecting Hirschgarten with the city centre every 2–4 minutes.
The Munich tramway is the tramway network for the city of Munich in Germany. Today it is operated by the municipally owned Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft and is known officially and colloquially as the Tram. Previous operators have included Société Anonyme des Tramways de Munich, the Münchner Trambahn-Aktiengesellschaft, the Städtische Straßenbahnen and the Straßenbahn München.
