In 2016, RouteNote announced a partnership with SoundCloud to allow artists to monetise their content on the platform. [5]

In 2019, following the COVID-19 pandemic, RouteNote reported a 50% growth in its customer base in more than 193 countries. [6]

In April 2021, the company opened an office in South Korea to support it's partnership with Asian digital music platforms such as MelOn, Bugs! and Tencent Music. [7]
