History

In August 2025, it was reported that entertainment investment company Media Capital Technologies had launched distribution label Row K Entertainment with former president of IMAX Corporation and president of worldwide marketing and distribution at Paramount Pictures, Megan Colligan, to serve as its president. [1] Row K intends to distribute up to 10 films annually, with plans to expand. [1] Row K plans to accomplish this by acquiring finished films as well as financing and producing their own. [1] The name, Row K, is a reference to the best row to watch a film within a theater.
