Ravindranath Rampaul is a Trinidadian cricketer. Rampaul plays for Trinidad and Tobago in domestic cricket and has played in the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore and in English County cricket for Surrey and Derbyshire. He was born at Preysal in Trinidad and Tobago.
Daren Ganga is a Trinidadian former cricketer. He was a right-handed top order batsman and part-time right-arm offbreak bowler. After debuting as a 19-year-old he has found himself in and out of the West Indian cricket team, playing regularly for and at times captaining the West Indies A side when he was not selected. After being named the 2006 West Indies Players' Association 'Test player of the year', Ganga had for the first time in his career cemented his spot in the side and when captain Ramnaresh Sarwan injured his shoulder in the second Test of their 2007 tour of England, the West Indies Cricket Board turned to Ganga to captain the side for the remainder of the series. Ganga has previously had a chance to hone his leadership from captaining the Trinidad and Tobago and the West Indies Under-23 teams. He can also bowl off spin but he is mainly a batsman.
The Regional Four Day Competition, formerly known as Shell Shield and Carib Beer Cup, is the first-class cricket competition in the West Indies. It is administered by the Cricket West Indies. In the 2013-2014 season the winner of the tournament was awarded the WICB President's Trophy while the winners of the knockout competition were awarded the George Headley/Everton Weekes trophy. In a few previous seasons the winners of the tournament were awarded the Headley/Weekes trophy. From the 2017–18, the Competition had been sponsored by Digicel and was known as the Digicel Four Day Championship. In 2019-20, the competition has been known as the West Indies Championship.
The West Indies cricket team, nicknamed the Windies, is a multi-national men's cricket team representing the mainly English-speaking countries and territories in the Caribbean region and administered by Cricket West Indies. The players on this composite team are selected from a chain of fifteen Caribbean nation-states and territories. As of 13 May 2021, the West Indies cricket team is ranked seventh in Tests and ninth in both ODIs and T20Is in the official ICC rankings.
Leon Constantine Romero is an American cricketer. A right-handed batsman, right-arm medium pace bowler and occasional wicket-keeper, he played two One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the United States national cricket team in the 2004 ICC Champions Trophy, having previously played first-class and List A cricket for Trinidad & Tobago.
The Brian Lara Cricket Academy is a multi-purpose stadium in Tarouba, San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, that was completed and inaugurated in 2017. It will be used mostly for cricket matches. It is located in southern Trinidad, just outside the heart of the city of San Fernando, beside the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway, about two kilometres southeast of Trinidad and Tobago's former cricket ground at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre.

He made his senior debut for Barbados in October 1998, playing a limited-overs game against the United States during the 1998–99 Red Stripe Bowl. His first-class debut came in January 2000, in the 1999–00 Busta Cup. In the 2001–02 Busta Cup, Mayers was selected to play for West Indies B. He scored two half-centuries during the season, which were his highest scores at first-class level. Mayers' final appearances for Barbados came in the 2006 Stanford 20/20, against Anguilla and Trinidad and Tobago.
