Roy Henzell Oval is a cricket ground in Caloundra, Queensland, Australia. The first recorded match on the ground came in 1981 when Queensland Country played the touring West Indians. [1] It held its only first-class match in 1993 when Queensland played the touring England A side, [2] with the match ending in a draw. [3] Three Youth One Day Internationals were played there in 2007 between Australia Under-19s and Pakistan Under-19. [4]
Allan Robert Border AO is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer. A batsman, Border was for many years the captain of the Australian team. His playing nickname was "A.B.". He played 156 Test matches in his career, a record until it was passed by fellow Australian Steve Waugh. Border formerly held the world record for the number of consecutive Test appearances of 153, before it was surpassed in June 2018 by Alastair Cook, and is second on the list of number of Tests as captain.
Adelaide Oval is a sports ground in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide. City Oval, is a multi-purpose stadium in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Wade Anthony Seccombe is a retired Australian first-class cricketer representing the state of Queensland. A wicket-keeper, Seccombe spent much of his career as second choice behind incumbent Ian Healy, replacing him largely when the latter was on international duty. The ground held matches in the 1978 and 1979 World Series Cricket. It held its first first-class match in 1979 when New South Wales played Queensland in the Sheffield Shield. The next first-class match to be staged there came in 1991 when New South Wales played the touring Indians. Gardens Oval was originally an Australian Football oval and now a cricket ground in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. It was the home of NT AFL prior to the opening of Marrara Oval.
