Christian VIII was King of Denmark from 1839 to 1848 and, as Christian Frederick, King of Norway in 1814.

Frederick VI was King of Denmark from 13 March 1808 to 3 December 1839 and King of Norway from 13 March 1808 to 7 February 1814, making him the last king of Denmark–Norway. From 1784 until his accession, he served as regent during his father's mental illness and was referred to as the "Crown Prince Regent". For his motto he chose God and the just cause and since the time of his reign, succeeding Danish monarchs have also chosen mottos in the Danish language rather than the formerly customary Latin. As Frederick VI had no surviving sons to succeed him, he was succeeded on the throne of Denmark by his half-first cousin Christian, who was his father's half-brother's son.
Friedrich Wilhelm, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg inherited the title of Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Beck as Frederick William IV in 1816. He subsequently changed his title to Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg in 1825 and founded a line that includes the Royal Houses of Denmark, Greece, Norway, and the Commonwealth realms.
Her Danish Majesty's Yacht Dannebrog (A540) was launched by Queen Alexandrine at Copenhagen in 1931, and commissioned on 26 May 1932. The yacht now serves as the official and private residence for Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, and members of the Royal Family when they are on official visits overseas and on summer cruises in Danish waters. When at sea, the Royal Yacht also participates in surveillance and sea-rescue services.
Tuborg is a Danish brewing company founded in 1873 on a harbour in Hellerup, to the north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Since 1970 it has been part of the Carlsberg Group. The brewery's flagship, the Tuborg pilsner, was brewed for the first time in 1880.
Charlottenlund Palace is a former royal summer residence in Charlottenlund, some 10 km (6 mi) north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The palace was named after Princess Charlotte Amalie, who was responsible for the construction of the original palace. It was later extended and adapted for Crown Prince Frederick VIII to a design by Ferdinand Meldahl in the early 1880s.

The 2018 Vintage Yachting Games was the third post-Olympic multi-class sailing event for discontinued Olympic and Paralympic Classes. The event was held from 16 to 22 September 2018 on Øresund, Copenhagen in Denmark. The organization of this event was executed by a joint venture of the Kongelig Dansk Yachtklub and the Hellerup Sejlklub. The Vintage Yachting Games Organization (VYGO) was the governing organization. The competition took place in 3 Vintage Yachting Classes.
Tuborg Havn or Port of Tuborg is a marina and surrounding mixed-use neighbourhood in the Hellerup district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Located on a peninsula on the north side of Svanemølle Bay, just north of the border to Copenhagen Municipality, it is the result of a redevelopment of the former industrial site of Tuborg Breweries which ceased operations in 1996. The marina is operated by the Royal Danish Yacht Club which also has their club house at the site. Other local landmarks include the Experimentarium science centre, the Waterfront shopping centre and the Saxo Bank headquarters. The port is located a 15-minute walk from the S-trains stations Svanemøllen (south) or Hellerup (north).
Prince Svasti Sobhana, the Prince Svastivatana Visishtha was a son of King Mongkut and Princess Consort Piam. As the sixtieth child of King Mongkut, he also had the same parents as the 3 queens of King Chulalongkorn, Queen Sunandha Kumariratana, Queen Savang Vadhana and Queen Saovabha Bhongsi. He was the father of Queen Rambai Barni.
Charlotte Helene Frederikke Bournonville (1832–1911) was a Danish opera singer and actress. Daughter of the celebrated Danish ballet master, August Bournonville, she first sang in Stockholm in 1857 before joining the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen two years later. She is also remembered for giving singing lessons to the daughters of King Christian IX. In appreciation of her services, the king elevated her to the status of Kongelig Kammersanger in 1863.
Sophie Helene Henriette Keller née Rung (1850–1929) was a Danish operatic soprano, musician and singing teacher, who performed at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen from 1869. She founded both a conservatory for women and a women's concert association.
