Albion Rovers Football Club is a semi-professional football team from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. In the League Cup they were knocked out to Oxford United in the first round. In the FA Cup they reached the third round where they drew away to Wigan Athletic the result ended 1–1 which required a reply. In the reply at home Bournemouth lost 1–0 and were knocked out of the competition. Bournemouth also completed in the League Trophy and in the first round they were drawn away against Portsmouth. The match finished 2–2 and required a shoot-out, the Cherries lost 4–3 on penalties.

Le Couperon guardhouse is a historic building in the parish of Saint Martin, Jersey. It stands a few metres from Le Couperon dolmen. The guardhouse was built in 1689 of local stone, with brick lintels. It supported a battery on the headland above as a magazine and shelter for the members of the Jersey militia that served the battery. The battery commanded Rozel Bay and by 1812 consisted of two 24-pounder muzzle-loading guns that fired over a low wall, which has long disappeared.
