Rumana Molla is an American-Belgian actress who is based in Belgium and India and works predominantly in Indian cinema. [2] [1] [3] [4]

Early life and career

Molla was born in West Virginia to Indian Bengali parents and grew up in Brussels, Belgium. [1] [2] She made her Bollywood debut in the movies Ek Villain and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. [5] She also starred in Indian web series Dev DD and the sports drama based on cricket Game of the Sexe in 2021. [6] [7] [8]

Molla is also a part of the governance team of the European Haemophilia Consortium. [9]

The Kapil Sharma Show, also known as TKSS, is an Indian Hindi language stand-up comedy and talk show broadcast by Sony Entertainment Television. Hosted by Kapil Sharma, the first season of the show had its premiere on 23 April 2016. The series revolved around Kapil Sharma and his neighbours in the Shantivan Non Co-operative Housing Society. The filming of the show took place at Film City situated in Goregaon East, Mumbai. The first season of the show was produced by Sharma's banner K9 Productions in association with Frames Productions while the second and third season is being jointly produced by Salman Khan Television and Banijay Asia with K9 Productions and TEAM as the creative producers. Virgin Bhanupriya is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy drama film directed by Ajay Lohan and produced by Shreyans Mahendra Dhariwal. The film stars Urvashi Rautela in the lead role, with Gautam Gulati, Archana Puran Singh, Chaitanya Kanhai and Rumana Molla playing supporting roles. The film is a family comedy that explores relationship between youngsters and their families. The film was scheduled for theatrical release in India and received negative reviews, but has moved to release on 16 July 2020 through ZEE5 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

<i>Pandya Store</i> Indian television series

Pandya Store is an Indian Hindi-language television family drama series that premiered on 25 January 2021 on Star Plus. It streams digitally on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Sunjoy Waddhwa and Commal Waddhwa under their banner Sphere Origins, the series is an official adaptation of Star Vijay's Tamil series Pandian Stores. The series starred Kinshuk Mahajan, Shiny Doshi, Akshay Kharodia, Kanwar Dhillon, Mohit Parmar, Alice Kaushik, Simran Budharup and Kruttika Desai. Since July 2023, it stars Priyanshi Yadav and Rohit Chandel as the second generation leads, with Kruttika Desai.
