Ruslan Yeremenko

Ruslan Yeremenko (born 31 July 1978) is a Ukrainian pole vaulter.

His personal best jump is 5.70 metres, achieved in July 2001 in Kyiv. He had 5.84 metres on the indoor track, achieved in January 2005 in Stuttgart.

He is the 1988 Olympic silver medallist, the 1987 World bronze medallist, a two-time European champion (1990/94) and a two-time World Indoor champion (1989/93). He is also a former world indoor record holder with clearances of 6.00m and 6.02m in 1989.

Ruslan Gataullin is a Russian long jumper. His personal best jump is 8.29 metres, achieved in May 2007 in Sochi. Early in his career he was also a pole vaulter achieving a personal best vault of 5.60m before focusing solely on the long jump.

Belarus participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song "Hasta la vista" written by Eleonora Melnik and Taras Demchuk. The song was performed by Ruslan Alekhno. The Belarusian entry for the 2008 contest in Belgrade, Serbia was selected through the national final Eurofest 2008, organised by the Belarusian broadcaster National State Television and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus (BTRC). Ruslan Mikhailovich Mashchenko is a retired hurdler and sprinter from Russia. He is best known for winning two silver medals at the European Athletics Championships during his career. Along with Aleksandr Ladeyshchikov, Boris Gorban, and Andrey Semyonov, he won a silver medal in the 4x400 m relay at the 2001 World Indoor Championships. He represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, and set his personal best in the men's 400 metres hurdles on 13 June 1998 in Helsinki, Finland.
