Russell T. Warne

Russell T. Warne is a quantitative research psychologist, author, and former professor of psychology at Utah Valley University. [1] [2]

In 2007, Warne earned his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and his PhD in educational psychology from Texas A&M University in 2011. [3] [4]

Warne was an associate professor at Utah Valley University. [5] [2] Dr. Warne has published over 50 scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals. [6]

Warne is the creator of the Reasoning and Intelligence Online Test (RIOT), which was released in 2025. He is also credited as the author of the test's technical manual. The RIOT is a fully online intelligence test based on the Cattell-Horn-Carroll model of intelligence. [7] [8]
