William "Rusty" Russell (born August 16, 1963) is a former American football tackle who played one season with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 1984 NFL Draft. [1] He played college football at the University of South Carolina and attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in Orangeburg, South Carolina. [2] Russell was also a member of the Orlando Predators, Charlotte Rage and Florida Bobcats of the Arena Football League. He was named Second Team All-Arena in 1994.
