Ruth Isabel Moschner (born 11 April 1976) is a German TV presenter and actress. [1] She was a judge in the first season of the German talent show Das Supertalent (part of the Got Talent franchise), but was replaced by Sylvie van der Vaart in the second season. She also appeared in Big Brother Germany and the comedy show Freitag Nacht News. [2] In 2006, she won a German version of the Dancing on Ice . [3] She has twice been nominated for the Deutschen Comedy-Preis. [3]

In November 2022, she was named by Noisy Pictures GmBH to host the 2023 German revival of the Sony Pictures Television, and Paramount Global Content Distribution game show Jeopardy! . [4]

The Masked Singer is a German reality singing competition television series that premiered on ProSieben on 27 June 2019. It is part of the Masked Singer franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. Hosted by Matthias Opdenhövel, the program employs panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout each season. Since the tenth season, Palina Rojinski and Rick Kavanian are the main panelists. Other panelists from previous seasons include Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, Max Giesinger, Bülent Ceylan, Sonja Zietlow, Rea Garvey, Álvaro Soler and Ruth Moschner. The audience vote for their favorite singer after all perform. The least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity.

The first season of the German singing competition The Masked Singer premiered on 27 June 2019 on ProSieben. The panelists were Collien Ulmen-Fernandes, Max Giesinger and Ruth Moschner. The host was Matthias Opdenhövel.

The third season of the German singing competition The Masked Singer premiered on 20 October 2020 on ProSieben. This season the panel were Bülent Ceylan and Sonja Zietlow, replacing Ruth Moschner and Rea Garvey. Matthias Opdenhövel also returned as host.

The fourth season of the German singing competition The Masked Singer premiered on 16 February 2021 on ProSieben. Ruth Moschner and Rea Garvey returned to the panel after one season hiatus, replacing Bülent Ceylan and Sonja Zietlow. Matthias Opdenhövel also returned as host.
