Ruzicka is a Canadian music variety television series which aired on CBC Television in 1972.
This Edmonton-produced series featured dentist and musician Bob Ruzicka (later of Homemade Jam ). Guests seen during the series run included Leon Bibb, John Allan Cameron, The Good Brothers, Dan Hill, Ann Mortifee, Colleen Peterson, Stan Rogers, Brent Titcomb, Sylvia Tyson, and Valdy. [1]
This half-hour series was broadcast Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern time) from 12 January to 27 April 1972.

The 1990 Stanley Cup Finals was the championship series of the National Hockey League's (NHL) 1989–90 season, and the culmination of the 1990 Stanley Cup playoffs. It was contested by the Edmonton Oilers and the Boston Bruins; the Oilers won, four games to one. The series was a rematch of the 1988 Finals, albeit with the notable absence of Wayne Gretzky who was traded from Edmonton to the Los Angeles Kings during the 1988 off-season. For the Oilers, it was their fifth Cup win in seven years, and the team's only championship after trading Gretzky. This was the last of eight consecutive Finals contested by a team from Alberta and nine by a team from Western Canada.
John Allan Cameron, was a Canadian folk singer, "The Godfather of Celtic Music" in Canada. Noted for performing traditional music on his twelve string guitar, he released his first album in 1969. He released 10 albums during his lifetime and was featured on national television. He was a recipient of the East Coast Music Award's Lifetime Achievement Award and the Order of Canada, conferred in 2003.
