Ian Michael Chappell is a former cricketer who played for South Australia and Australia. He captained Australia between 1971 and 1975 before taking a central role in the breakaway World Series Cricket organisation. Born into a cricketing family—his grandfather and brother also captained Australia—Chappell made a hesitant start to international cricket playing as a right-hand middle-order batsman and spin bowler. He found his niche when promoted to bat at number three. Known as "Chappelli",he earned a reputation as one of the greatest captains the game has seen. The Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the Eastern Suburbs and parts of inner Sydney including the CBD. Archibald Jackson,occasionally known as Archibald Alexander Jackson,was an Australian international cricketer who played eight Test matches as a specialist batsman between 1929 and 1931. A teenage prodigy,he played first grade cricket at only 15 years of age and was selected for New South Wales at 17. In 1929,aged 19,Jackson made his Test debut against England,scoring 164 runs in the first innings to become the youngest player to score a Test century.
