The São Tomé and Príncipe Super Cup (Portuguese: Super Taça de São Tomé e Príncipe) is a Super Cup competition played during the season in São Tomé and Príncipe. The competition is governed by the São Toméan Football Federation (FSF). [1] The competition is also known for recent seasons as the António Aguiar National Super Cup (Supertaça Nacional Antònio Aguiar). The first super cup competition began in 1996.The regional champion competes with the cup winner. Sometimes, if a champion also has a cup title, a cup club who is runner-up qualifies. It is the only super cup competition in the country as there are no regional super cup competitions.
Its first of two participants came from São Tomé who competed in the first edition and were the first island to have a title. The first participant from Príncipe was Sundy who competed in the 2010 edition. It is the only national competition where all of the winners are from the island of São Tomé.
Sporting Praia Cruz won the most numbering five, the only one with more than the title won. The remaining eight has only a title won.
Inter Bom-Bom was the first winner won in 1995, then was Bairros Unidos in 1996 and Sporting Praia Cruz in 1999 and became the only club to have more than a title won in 2000. 6 de Setembro became the fourth club to win a title in 2010, then Vitória in 2011, Guadalupe in 2012, UDRA in 2014 and recently Porto Real (or Príncipe) in 2017.
Água Grande has more titles won by any other district with 7 titles. Me-Zochi was the only district won until 1996. It only had two districts had a titles until 2012 when Lobata was added and lastly Caué from the south in 2014. Cantagalo and Lembá are the only districts that has no titles. Until April 7, 2018, all of the titles were won by clubs based on São Tomé Island. Príncipe now has a title won with Porto Real winning for the 2017 season with the final played in April 2018.
Between 2001 and 2009, the Super Cup competition was cancelled.

São Tomé and Príncipe Championship is the top division of the São Toméan Football Federation. In the current 2021/22 season there are 18 teams participating in two separate leagues – 12 teams from São Tomé Island, whose league has two relegation places, alongside 6 teams from Príncipe Island, which operates as a single division with no relegation.
Vitória Futebol Clube do Riboque is a football club that plays in the São Tomé and Príncipe Championship.The club is most noted for the fact that they are the São Tomé and Príncipe one of oldest club, founded 1976. The team is based in Riboque a neighbourhood of city São Tomé in the Água Grande District on the island of São Tomé. Its offices are located at Avenida Geovany in Riboque. The club is the only unrelegated club in the island of São Tomé. Vitória Riboque is historically the third successful football (soccer) club in both São Tomé Island and São Tomé and Príncipe, having won about 25 official titles, 14 are national and the remaining 11 are regional titles. In national championship titles, they have five, about 15% of the championship title totals, by district, half of the titles won. Of the regional titles, about 30% of the totals, by district, more than half of the totals. In cup titles it totals about 30% of the national titles.
Sporting Clube da Praia Cruz is a professional football club that plays in the São Tomé and Príncipe Championship. The team is based in the island of São Tomé. The team has won eight national and six island titles and is the third team in history to claim its first title in 1982. Sporting Portugal are the fathering club of Sporting Praia Cruz and its 82nd affiliate. Other Sporting affiliates are Sporting Príncipe and Sporting São Tomé.
Grupo Desportivo Os Operários, sometimes known as Sport Operários e Benfica, is a football club that plays in the Principe Island League in São Tomé and Príncipe. The team is based in the island of Príncipe and plays at Estádio 13 de Julho in the island capital as every club on the island does. Os Operários the second successful football (soccer) club in Príncipe, it has one of the most honours in São Tomé and Príncipe, having won about 14 official titles, six are national and the remaining eight are regional titles.
Taça Nacional de São Tomé e Príncipe is the top knockout tournament of the São Toméan Football Federation, it was created in 1981. The cup winner of São Tome island competes with a cup winner from Príncipe Island. The winner competes in (both) the São Tomé and Príncipe Super Cup.
União Desportiva Rei Amador, known popularly by the abbreviation UDRA, is a football club based in the southern part of the island of São Tomé, in the city of São João dos Angolares. Founded in 1995, the club competes in the São Tomé and Príncipe Championship, using Campo de Ribeira Peixe. The club is named after Rei Amador, a slave king in Angolares mythology.

União Desportiva Aeroporto, Picão e Belo Monte is a football club that plays in Santo António in the island of Principe in São Tomé and Príncipe. The 2016 São Tomé and Principe Championship was the 31st season of the São Tomé and Principe Championship the top-level football championship of São Tomé and Principe. It began on 21 May, a day earlier than last season and concluded on 21 December. Two national final matches occurred in the season. Sporting Praia Cruz from São Tomé island won their seventh and recent title.
Taça Regional de Príncipe, literally the Príncipe Regional Cup is the regional association football knockout tournament of the island of São Tomé, it was created in 1998. The winner competes with the São Tomé Cup winner in the São Tomé and Príncipe Cup. All of its finals matches are played at Estádio 13 de Julho at the furthermost area of the island capital. FC Porto Real is the current cup winner which won the 2017 title.
The 2015 São Tomé First Division took place that season. The club was had 10 clubs and appeared in that number for the last time, the competition began in June and finished on 19 November. Geographically almost all clubs but Neves that took part in the Premier Division were in the east. Sporting Praia Cruz won the title and went on to participate in the national championships for the seventh time in November. Sporting Praia Cruz were first crowned as champions on October 26, a round before the season ended. A total of 90 matches were played and 231 goals were scored.
The 2017 São Tomé First Division was the competition of the Santomean Football Federation's São Tome section that took place that season. The club had 12 clubs. the competition began in 22 April and finished on 29 October. Geographically all clubs that took part in the Premier Division were in the east and almost all but UDRA were in the northeast where the regional and national capital is located. UDRA won their second and recent title and almost a month later headed to the national champions to win their national title.
