S. A. Muruganantham (10 April 1926) was an Indian politician and a leader of the Communist Party of India (CPI). He was a member of the 5th Lok Sabha, representing the Tirunelveli constituency, Tamil Nadu. [1] [2] [3]

He was critically wounded in a road accident which happened near Vaagaikulam on the Tirunelveli - Tuticorin National Highway on 6 August 2006. His wife Indra Devi Adithan died in the accident.

He was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament, from Tirunelveli constituency in the 1977 elections.
