Career

He started his film career as a dialogue writer for the 1997 film Once More . In 2000, he directed his second feature film En Purushan Kuzhanthai Maathiri , which turned out to be a flop. His subsequent ventures Ponmanam (1998) is a hit and Karmegham (2002) is unsuccessful. A proposed film in 2003 titled Thoodhu with Bhavana was shelved. [2] [3]

Only after six years, he started his next project Azhagar Malai (2009), which was a sleeper hit. He directed Vijay's 50th film, Sura (2010). [4] The following films were comedies titled Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya (2014), Paakanum Pola Irukku (2017) and Local Sarakku (2023). [5] [6] [7]

Sura (transl. Shark) is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by S. P. Rajkumar, starring Vijay in the title role along with Tamannaah Bhatia, Dev Gill and Vadivelu in supporting roles. The film, produced by Sangili Murugan and distributed by Sun Pictures features film's soundtrack and score was composed by Mani Sharma. Cinematography was handled by N. K. Ekambaram and M. S. Prabhu, respectively and editing was handled by Don Max. The film was the 50th film of Vijay.

Rambo Rajkumar, born Rajkumar, was an Indian stunt director and action choreographer. He was the son of T.K.Paramasivam, who himself was in the stunt department. Rajkumar was a very highly respected stunt director and has worked in more than 500 films in all Indian languages and is known for his close association with actor Mithun Chakraborty. His posthumous release were the films Aayirathil Oruvan and Aadukalam.
