Nominations for the annual awards ceremony are announced in early November, with the ceremony itself taking place in early December.

The Golden Calf is the award of the Netherlands Film Festival, which is held annually in Utrecht. Russian Film Week is an annual film festival in London founded in 2016 by Filip Perkon with a group of volunteers on a non-profit basis.
