SM*SH is the first studio album by the Indonesian boy band, SM*SH, released in Jakarta on June 26, 2011. The album contains pop-dance music produced by Star Signal, Veronica Lukitoand Lidi Management. It was released by Ancora Music and Star Signal.

The album sold over 1 million copies within six months in Indonesia.

Background and songs

The band had already released the main single, "I Heart You" and followed with "Senyum Semangat" as the second single. [1] The album contains ten songs that carry the flow of dance-pop and Indo pop. "I Heart You" appears in two versions, an original and an acoustic version. There are four cover versions: "Ada Cinta" (Bening), "Gadisku" (Trio Libels), "Inikah Cinta" (M.E) and "Oh Ya" (Kelompok 3 Suara). [2]

Smash (Indonesian band)

SM*SH or Seven Man as Seven Heroes, later Six Man as Six Heroes,, is a boy band from Indonesia, founded by Starsignal on April 10, 2010. This boy-band consists of Rafael, Rangga, Morgan, Bisma, Dicky, Reza, and Ilham. Together, they perform songs that are pop-dance oriented. The name SM*SH stands for "Seven Man as Seven Heroes", heroes meaning that they want to young people by bringing positive spirits through their song. The letter "A" that's replaced by the star symbol was inspired by the name of their management, Starsignal. Currently, SM*SH is also working under the "Ancora Music" label since the mid 2011. Their first studio album that was released worldwide is titled SM*SH (self-titled). Their well-known singles, include "I Heart You", "Senyum Semangat", and "Ada Cinta". SM*SH has changed the Indonesian music industry by popularizing the boy-band culture in the year 2011. Now, the Indonesian music industry is dominated by various boy-bands and also girl-bands. Up until recently, SM*SH had received eight awards and two nominations in 2011, including two awards from the Indonesia Kids Choice Awards 2011.

Bisma Karisma

Bisma Karisma Bisma is well known as a member of boy band SM*SH. Before joining SM*SH, was a national Bboy and also a drummer, percussionist and vocalist. With SM*SH Bisma has released two albums and has achieved more than forty achievement. Their first album was awarded Platinum for being sold for more than one million copies within six-month. In mid 2014 Bisma begin his solo career with the first single "#LAKUKANLAH", he composed and write the song by himself.
