SMK Raja Lumu (or Raja Lumu Secondary School) is a secondary school in Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia established in 1982.

History

The school's land was first planned to be the school for Simpang Lima Tamil Primary School. But because of the location, the school was closed and became Putera Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Rahimah. Then, the school has moved to a new location and here became the hostel for Putera Sekolah Tengku Ampuan Rahimah dan Pulau Lumut. After it was renovated for a few years, the Raja Lumu Secondary School was established.

On 1 January 1982, Mr. Mohammad Noribinin Taib was appointed to be the school's first principal and Mrs. S. Sthipam as the supervisor of this school.

This school holds 2 schooling sessions. The morning session is for Form 3, Form 4 and Form 5 (ages 15 to 17) while the afternoon session is for Peralihan or Reform students, Form 1 and Form 2 students (ages 13 to 14). This is done to accommodate the large number of students attending the school.

Sultan Sir Hisamuddin Alam Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Alaeddin Sulaiman Shah was the second Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaya from 14 April to 1 September 1960, and the sixth Sultan of Selangor between 1938–1942 and again from 1945–1960.

Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mu’azzam Shah was the fifth modern Sultan of Pahang, and also served as the seventh Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 26 April 1979 to 25 April 1984. His abdication as Sultan was decided by the Royal Council at an extraordinary meeting on 11 January 2019. A special amendment was passed on the state constitution that gave the body more power for this decision, citing the Sultan's incapability to rule due to his failing health. The abdication announced the next day which was retroactively effective on the day of the Royal Council meeting, paving the way to his son, Abdullah to succeed him as Sultan immediately, and subsequently be elected as the next Yang di-Pertuan Agong later the same month.

Tengku Ampuan Hajah Jemaah binti Almarhum Raja Ahmad was the second Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia during the brief reign of her husband, Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah Al-Haj ibni Almarhum Sultan Alaeddin Sulaiman Shah. She was also Tengku Ampuan of Selangor during her husband's reign as Sultan of Selangor.

Tengku Ampuan Hajah Afzan Rahimahallah binti Almarhum Tengku Panglima Perang Tengku Muhammad was the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang. She served as Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia between 26 April 1979 and 25 April 1984.
