Saara Lamberg is a Finnish and Australian filmmaker, director, writer, producer and actor currently working in Australia. Her most notable work to date is the feature film Innuendo (written, directed and produced by Lamberg), which was released theatrically in October 2017 in Melbourne. Biography

Lamberg was born in Helsinki, Finland, and she graduated from Kallio Upper Secondary School of Performing Arts  [ fi ] at the age of eighteen. [3] Lamberg studied in Dartington College of Arts, England, and graduated with a BA (HonsS) Theatre and Choreographic Practices degree in 2007.[ citation needed ] In 2010 she entered the new 'Artist in Residence' programme in Australia's oldest art centre, Montsalvat based in Eltham. [4] and made Melbourne her home, becoming a dual citizen in 2014. [5]

Lamberg won the Bronze prize at the Beverly Hills screenplay contest (Hollywood 2013), Best Actor at Comfy Shorts (Melbourne 2014), Best Drama at the Connect Film Festival (Melbourne 2014) and Best Actor (Lithuania 2004). Her first feature Innuendo won the Best Feature at the Fine Arts Film Festival in California [6] and the Audience Award for Best Australian film by Cinema Australia. [7] The film has its European premiere at the Rencontres Internationales du Cinéma des Antipodes in October 2017 [8]

Innuendo is distributed by Umbrella Entertainment in Australia [11] [12] and represented by Blairwood Entertainment for international sales. [13] [ relevant? ]

Lamberg wrote, directed and produced five short films before she launched onto the production of Innuendo.[ citation needed ] In 2017 she also started the production of her second feature film, Westermarck Effect. [7]

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) is an annual festival based in Melbourne founded in 2010. It was previously funded by Victoria State Government. It is presented by Film Victoria, and the provider is chosen through a tender process. The current tender provider is Mind Blowing Films, run by Mitu Bhowmick Lange who is the Festival Director of IFFM. The festival has currently been provided with State Government funding until 2018. The goal of the film festival is to showcase Indian cinema to the Australian audience. Raymond Charles Argall is best known as a cinematographer and director for both film and television. He has also worked as an editor. His multi-award-winning feature film Return Home (1990) is regarded by many critics as an Australian cinema classic. Argall served on the board of the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) for sixteen years, holding the position of president from 2006 to 2015 and secretary from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, Argall launched a business restoring archival films through his production company Piccolo Films. In 2018 the ADG presented him with its prestigious Cecil Holmes Award.

Lange was awarded Jill Robb Screen Leadership Award for 2017 from Film Victoria. Mitu Bhowmik was appointed as a board of member at WIFT Australia in February 2022. Mitu is also a board member at Film Vic Australia and the part of the committee for Natalie Miller Fellowship (NMF). In 2023, Lange received the award of Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to performing arts through film.

From 2009 until 2010, Thomas Henning worked on several projects with Hayloft Theatre. From 2013 until 2020, Thomas Henning has worked on several projects with TerryandTheCuz productions.
