Saat Number Kayedi (Prisoner Number Seven) is a Bengali drama film directed by Sukumar Dasgupta [1] based on the same name story of Diptendra Sanyal. [2] This film was released on 7 February 1953 [3] under the banner of S. M. Productions. This was first official debut film of Suchitra Sen. [4] [5] [6]

This is the first film that Uttam had produced along with Ajoy Kar. The film is regarded as one of the finest examples of Bengali cinema of this early period. The film is based on the 1942 American film Random Harvest. The film became the highest grossing Bengali film of 1957.

Bipasha is a 1962 Indian Bengali-language drama film starring Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen. and directed by Agradoot. The film is based on a novel titled Bipasha by Sri Tarashankar Bandyopadhay.The story fleetingly describes the horror of riots in West Pakistan during the time of Partition of India. Bipasa was described as a victim of that riot in the film. However, the film deviates from the original novel and avoids describing Bipasha as a gang rape victim by Pakistani Islamist rioters.

Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane was an Indian Bengali-language television soap opera that premiered on 21 January 2019 and airs on Bengali GEC Star Jalsha. The show, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films initially starred child artists Abhirup Sen and Pritha Ghosh in lead roles. Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane was a story of two orphans who grow up together in an orphanage in North Bengal. The show then starred Arya Dasgupta, Pratyusha Paul and Jeetu Kamal in lead roles. It ended on 14 March 2020 and got replaced by another SVF-produced show Prothoma Kadambini.
