Sabine Brogle

Sabine Brogle (Ettenheim, 3 May 1965) is a German paralympic air rifle athlete . She competed at the in 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, and 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. She won three bronze and two silver medals. [1]

Career

At the 1996 Summer Paralympics in Atlanta, she won a bronze medal in Women's Air Rifle 3x20 SH1, [2] and in Women's Standard Rifle 3x20 SH1. [3]

At the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, she won a silver medal in Women's Sport Rifle 3x20 SH1, [4] and in Women's Air Rifle Standing SH1. [5] [6]

At the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, she won a bronze medal in Women's 10 metre air rifle standing SH1. [7] [8] She competed in Women's Sport Rifle 3x20 SH1. [9]

At the 2008 Summer Paralympics, she competed in Women's Sport Rifle 3x20 SH1, [10] and Women's Air Rifle Standing SH1. [11]

She could not compete in 2016 due to a shoulder injury. [12]

She trains with BSG Offenburg; her coach is Rudi Krenn.

In 1996, he won two gold medals in the air rifle 3×40 and English match events and a bronze in the air rifle prone at the Atlanta Paralympics. At the 2000 Summer Paralympics, he took two gold medals in the free rifle 3×40 and free rifle prone events and two bronzes in air rifle standing and air rifle prone events. Four years later, at the Athens Games, he competed in the same four events and won the gold medal in all of them.

Shooting at the 2008 Summer Paralympics consisted of twelve events. The competition was held in the Beijing Shooting Range Hall from 7 September to 12 September.

Yan Yaping is a Chinese paralympic sport shooter. She participated at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the shooting competition, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's 10 metre air rifle standing SH1 event.

The 2022 World Shooting Para Sport Championships was the 8th edition of the World Shooting Para Sport Championships. It was held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from 6 to 17 November 2022. It was the first time the competition was staged in the Middle East.
