Sabse Bada Sukh is a 1972 Bollywood drama film directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
Village born Lalloo re-locates to Bombay, and returns a wealthy man. He goes to meet his friend, Shankar alias Bhompu, and together they meet and share tales, mostly about women, sex, and playboy magazines' pictures. A Bollywood movie director is shooting a film nearby, and they go and meet him and his beautiful actress, Urvashi. After meeting Urvashi, Shankar feigns a racking cough, and tells his family that he must go to Bombay, and seek medical treatment. Together he and Lalloo take the next train to Bombay to see if they can find the biggest happiness in life.

Keshto Mukherjee was an Indian actor and comedian. He was born in Kolkata, Bengal Presidency, British India. He specialised in comic drunkard roles in Hindi films. Though he was famous for his drunkard typecast role in Hindi films, he was a teetotaller throughout his life. However in his own interview published in the Stardust magazine in 1981, he mentioned the following; "I drink a lot. I started boozing when I left my home town and came to Bombay to become a film hero. I lived in a dingy room in the railway quarters with nothing to eat, but lots to drink. I drank because I was frustrated. I didn’t have any work. I drank to get some sleep, to forget that there were rats running all around the place, that there was a dog sleeping next to me. I drank to relieve the tension. And I only had daaru as my true friend. And again, it was because of this daaru that I gained popularity. Today, if anyone says my name, everyone pictures a bevda. I cannot ditch my friend now. I still drink. The only day when I didn’t touch a drop of liquor was on my wedding day."

Umesh Mehra is an Indian film director and producer of Bollywood. He was prominent in the 1980s and 1990s. His notable films include Alibaba Aur 40 Chor (1980), Sohni Mahiwal (1984) and Vardi (1989). He directed Akshay Kumar in three films in the Khiladi series: Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995) Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) and International Khiladi (1999). He directed many Mithun Chakraborty starrers like Ashanti (1982), Mujrim (1989), Guru (1989) and Yaar Gaddar (1994). In 1998 he directed the veteran actor Dilip Kumar in Qila which was Kumar's last film. Mehra's last film as director was 2002's Yeh Mohabbat Hai.

Love In Bombay is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film produced and directed by Joy Mukherjee. The film was originally made in 1971 and starred Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, Joy Mukherjee, Waheeda Rehman, Rehman. It is the third film of Mukherjee's Love In trilogy, includes Love In Simla and Love In Tokyo. Music director duo Shankar–Jaikishan had composed music for this film which features songs by the legend artists of golden era like Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle. Due to lack of funds this movie couldn't release in its own time. After Joy Mukherjee's death, his son Toy had put in efforts and made arrangements of the release of the movie.
S. Raamanathan was an Indian film director and producer. He began as an Assistant Director in Indian cinema from 1951 until 1958, then he worked as a Director in Indian cinema. In the 1970s he worked in the Hindi industry with Amitabh Bachchan on several occasions such as in Bombay to Goa (1972) and Mahaan (1983). Zamaanat, a project with Bachchan which had been delayed since 1996, was still awaiting release in 2014. He produced several Kannada films along with his brother Shivaram and formed the home banner "Rashi Brothers". He died on 9 January 2013 in Chennai.
