Sadaharu Yagi is a Japanese-born record producer, mixing engineer, and recording engineer who has won one Grammy and two Latin Grammy Awards. [1] He has worked with artists like Shania Twain, John Mayall, and Marc Anthony. [2] Currently he is based in Los Angeles, California.
Yagi was born in Kitakyushu, Japan, and graduated from Kyushu University (former Kyushu Institute of Design). [3] After graduation, he began working in the recording industry in Los Angeles. In 2013, he was awarded a Latin Grammy for his work on Draco Rosa's album, Vida, [4] which also won at the Grammy Awards in 2014. [5] He was also part of Sara Bareilles' album, The Blessed Unrest, which was nominated for a Grammy in the same year. [2] [6]
In 2019, Yagi produced the song "We Are Walking On" for the United Nations Environment Programme and World Environment Day, and dedicated it to the protection of earth and the promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals. [7] [8]
Yagi received his third Grammy at the 20th Latin Grammy Awards in the category "Best Rock Album" for Draco Rosa's Monte Sagrado, [9] which was No.1 for 2 weeks on Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart. [10] He was also nominated as producer for "Hotel de los Encuentros", which includes multiple tracks from Monte Sagrado with animation. [9]
Yagi has participated in multiple gold and platinum record-winning projects, including Shania Twain's album, Now, which reached No.1 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. [11]

Vida (Life) is the twelfth studio album by Puerto Rican recording artist Draco Rosa, released on March 19, 2013 by Sony Music Latin. It consists of 16 duets of Rosa's hits featuring guest artists chosen personally by Rosa himself. This is the first album released by Draco after his non-hodgkin lymphoma cancer diagnosis near his liver on April 25, 2011. It is entitled Vida symbolizing Draco's recovery after his cancer treatment. The album won Album of the Year at the 2013 Latin Grammy Awards and Best Latin Pop Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

Now is the fifth studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shania Twain and her first in 15 years. It was released on September 29, 2017 by Mercury Nashville. The album was produced by Twain alongside Ron Aniello, Jake Gosling, Jacquire King and Matthew Koma. Following a severely weakened singing voice caused by Lyme disease and dysphonia, Twain took an indefinite hiatus from music beginning in the mid-2000s, and at one point was unsure if she would ever be able to sing again. Commercially, the album became her third number one album in the United Kingdom, and entered the top ten in Canada, Switzerland, Australia and the United States.
