Safari Lagoon Waterpark was a former water park in the housing area of Pandan Perdana, in Pandan, Selangor, Malaysia, operating between 1998 [1] and 2007.
It was the first water park built on a rooftop in the Klang Valley and was touted as the biggest of its kind in Malaysia. [2] The park featured animal sculptures and lush greenery for a safari look. The park is owned by Dirga Niaga Sdn Bhd and reportedly cost RM 28 million and its Operations Water Park Consultant was Mon S Sudesh . The park covered 120,000 square feet and was located on the seventh floor of Pandan Safari Shopping Complex.
In January 2007, there was an incident where an employee drowned in one of the park's pools when he was trapped inside a high-pressure water pump while retrieving a visitor's items. Following that, it was revealed that the theme park had been operating for the last nine years without a license from the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ). [3]
The park was closed shortly after; a part of it was later reused as a restaurant, but largely deserted by 2014. Nevertheless, the shopping complex beneath it continued to operate until 2015. [4]
Kings Island is a 364-acre (147 ha) amusement park located 24 miles (39 km) northeast of Cincinnati in Mason, Ohio, United States. Six Flags Great Adventure is an amusement park located approximately 20 miles southeast of Trenton in Jackson, New Jersey. Owned and operated by Six Flags, the park complex is situated between New York City and Philadelphia and includes a water park named Hurricane Harbor. It first opened to the public as simply Great Adventure in 1974 under the direction of restaurateur Warner LeRoy. Six Flags acquired the park in 1977. The park is located right off of Interstate 195 and is along Monmouth Road.

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is a 128 acres theme park, zoo and hotel complex in Chessington, Greater London, England, around 12 miles (19 km) southwest of Central London. The complex originally opened as Chessington Zoo in 1931; the theme park aspect was developed by The Tussauds Group, debuting on 7 July 1987 as one of the first combined animal-amusement parks in the UK. The theme park, which features over 40 rides, is now owned by Merlin Entertainments, following its merger with The Tussauds Group in 2007. Under Merlin, Chessington has been increasingly developed into a resort and tourist destination, including two on-site hotels, swimming pools, a campground, spa and wellness amenities, and fitness facilities, including a high ropes course.

A' Famosa Resort Malaysia is a family resort located in Alor Gajah, Malacca, Malaysia, near the Simpang Ampat exit on the North–South Expressway. It was named after the 16th century Portuguese fort of the same name which was once stood near the harbour of Malacca city. The logo of the resort also incorporates a stylized silhouette of the fort's gateway in the background.
