Sagar Surya is an Indian actor who appears in Malayalam films and television shows. He is best known for portraying comedy and drama roles on screen.

Career

He started his acting career in 2018 with Thatteem Mutteem on Mazhavil Manorama. [1] His first movie was Kuruthi in 2021.

Personal life

Sagar graduated collage with a Master of Engineering before starting his acting career. He is part of a family of four with his mother, who has recently passed away, [2] father, and brother.

Thatteem Mutteem is a Malayalam-language sitcom that has been broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama from 1 July 2012. It is one of Malayalam television's oldest and longest-running series, and has been broadcast since the launch of the Mazhavil Manorama channel. The show stars K.P.A.C Lalitha, Manju Pillai, Jayakumar Parameswaran Pillai, Naseer Sankranthi, Bhagyalakshmi Prabhu, Sidharth Prabhu, Rajesh Paravoor, Shalu Kurian, Shara Sherly Samuel Koshy, Parvathu Lal and Anoop Vincent in lead roles. In 2014 and 2016, the show won the Kerala State Television Award for the Best Comedy Show.

Sandamarutham (transl. Arena) is a 2015 Tamil-language action thriller film directed by A. Venkatesh which has R. Sarathkumar in dual roles and who also written the story of the film. This is his first time playing dual roles of the hero and villain. The film also has Oviya, Meera Nandan, and Samuthirakani in supporting roles.
