Sahara Centre is a shopping mall located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, established in February 2002. It is situated on the Dubai-Sharjah highway, near areas such as Al Nahda. The mall features a variety of shopping outlets, dining options, and entertainment facilities, attracting visitors from both Sharjah and Dubai. [1] [2] [3]

The architectural design of Sahara Centre includes a distinctive tent and wooden beam roof structure, complemented by a circular glass entrance. The mall provides a spacious atmosphere with open vistas. [4]

In 2013, Sahara Centre underwent a significant expansion, adding one million square feet of space. The expansion introduced new facilities, restaurants, and additional stores. Notable additions include 120 new retail spaces featuring brands such as Matalan, Emax, Fitness First, and Baby Shop. The revamped Novo Cinemas within the mall offer modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology. [5]

The mall includes a variety of fashion stores, cosmetic stores, toy stores, perfume stores, jewelry stores, and textile stores. [6] Sahara Centre provides various entertainment options. Adventureland is a theme park within the mall, featuring rides and attractions. The hub is an entertainment center with a skating rink, VR simulators, video games, and classic games like foosball and billiards. Bowl N' Roll offers a modern bowling experience. [7] [8]

Dubai Hills Estate constitutes as one of the first stages in the development of Mohammed bin Rashid City and Dubai Hills Mall will be the primary regional mall in the area. The mall opened on 17 February 2022.
